100 Kids Who Care

What Is 100 Kids Who Care?

This group of more than 227 youth came from the desire to teach children that philanthropy comes from the willingness to help others. We believe the need for help exists in our community and that no matter your age, gender or income bracket you CAN make a difference. Our mission is to make an impact in our community by encouraging children to come together as a team, recognize their voice has value and believe in the positive impact they can make in our community. 100 Kids aims to inspire the next generation of philanthropists by providing a forum to help and contribute to local charities. This program blends beautifully with Dance Magic Studio’s “more than just great dancing” philosophy. We teach dance and music lessons, yes – but there’s so much more to living a rewarding life. Programs such as this give us an opportunity to live this philosophy while also teaching our students that everyone can do something to make the world a little brighter! 100 Kids Who Care Red Deer is open to all children in our community. Tell your friends, neighbors and play mates at the park. Together we CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

15 local charities were in attendance sharing information about their programs, free lunch was provided, there were games, activities, bouncy castles, and focus groups created to engage the kids in ways EACH of them can make a difference in the lives of others. An incredible afternoon for our kids and our community.
