STEP – Youth Leadership Program

WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE A STEP MEMBER? STEP is much more than simply attending and volunteering with a dance class once per week. STEP is a training aide made to inspire our assistants to be MORE than just great dancers, to be DANCERS MAKING A DIFFERENCE. We are looking for young leaders in our community who show an interest in bettering their skills in leadership and beyond! We seek students who dream big, are always ready to lend a hand and those who are keen to share their passion and love for dance with the next generation. Being a STEP member is a commitment to being the best version of yourself inside and outside of our studio walls! Learn more about this amazing program below!

Should the teacher need to step out of the class room the assistant is expected to pick up where they leave off following the notes they have made in their binder.

  • Assistants must treat the studios, the premises, and the possessions of all other dancers with respect, care, and consideration.
  • Assistants are expected to stay up to date on studio happenings/performances and events. Notices are always available on the website or on the studio bulletin board.
