MEET THE DANCE MAGIC TEAM

Miss Ali

I have been dancing at Dance Magic since I was four. Then I became an assistant teacher in my early teens and now a dance teacher. I’ve loved dancing and growing up at the studio and I am excited to keep my passion alive while teaching my students. My favourite discipline is Modern I love the freedom of it and how it can turn into a gentle sentimental piece or a creepy dance. When I am out of the dance studio you can find me at Arts In Motion, working for the Rebels or baking.

Miss Ava
I’m currently a nursing student with a lifelong passion for movement and the outdoors. I love sharing my passion for aerial arts and helping students build confidence, strength, and creativity in a fun and supportive environment. Watching students achieve something they never thought they could is the most rewarding part of teaching. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll usually find me hiking, camping, exploring the mountains, or spending time with friends and family. I’m so excited to be part of your aerial journey!

Miss Brooklynn
I’ve always had a passion for performing and being in front of an audience. Growing up, I explored a variety of sports and activities, including 10 years of softball, but dance was always what I found myself coming back to. I began dancing recreationally before making the transition to competitive dance, where my love for the art continued to grow. While I admire all styles of dance, Jazz and Hip Hop hold a special place in my heart. What I love most, however, is sharing that passion with my students. Watching dancers build confidence, develop new skills, and discover their own love for movement is incredibly rewarding. Creating a positive and inspiring environment where dancers can learn, grow, and express themselves is what makes teaching so meaningful to me. When I’m not at the studio, you can find me at the gym, cuddling with my dogs, or getting cozy with a puzzle.

Miss Courtney
Having grown up dancing at Dance Magic, this studio has always been home to me! My journey began as a young dancer with a passion for tap, which eventually expanded into a love for many other disciplines. I began teaching at 19 and have since specialized in Acro, currently holding 6 Acrobatic Arts certifications and workshop training credentials. Beyond the technical side of dance, my greatest joy is witnessing those transformative moments when a student connects with the music and finds their unique voice through movement. Outside of dance, you’ll find me working with the little ones at Arts in Motion during the day or hitting the bowling lanes for some fun!
    Miss Erin
I grew up dancing at Dance Magic and began teaching in my late teens, so the studio has always felt like a second home to me. Over the years, I’ve also spent time in classroom settings and hold a degree in education, which has deepened my love for leadership, learning, and supporting young people as they grow. Dance has played such a meaningful role in shaping my confidence, creativity, and sense of self, and I feel so grateful to now walk alongside my students as they discover that for themselves. I truly love building connections with my dancers and watching them grow up within the same walls that helped shape who I am today. I also have a background in aerial acrobatics and love the feeling of flying, whether it’s in the silks, lyra, or trapeze. It’s such a fun and empowering way for both dancers and aerialists to build strength, confidence, and trust in themselves. When I’m not at the studio, you can usually find me spending time with my family and my goldendoodle Milo, running my small business, trying out a new recipe, or enjoying time with friends. I love staying connected to my community and bringing that same sense of warmth and encouragement into the studio each day.

I was lucky to grow up in the studio, starting as a dancer at age 2, then assisting, and now teaching the next generation. Dance has always been such a big part of my life, and I truly love watching my students grow, not just over a season but year after year. Seeing their confidence, skills, and passion come to life is what inspires me most. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll find me cheering on my kids at their sports or running my decorating business.

    Miss Jen
Dance has always been a part of my life. I grew up dancing competitively, and what began as a childhood passion has grown into a lifelong calling. For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of sharing my love of dance with students at Dance Magic. I teach tap, jazz and lyrical. As a child, tap was my favourite style, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I especially love teaching lyrical because of the emotion, artistry, and storytelling it brings. Beyond the studio, I am a wife, a proud mother to a son and daughter, and a school teacher. Whether I’m in the classroom or the dance studio, I am passionate about helping young people learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
    Miss Jenna
Dance has been a huge part of my life since I was little, and it’s something that has always stayed with me. I love being in the studio sharing my passion for dance with kids + teens, helping them build confidence both on and off the floor. Modern is my favourite style, especially anything that allows dancers to connect and tell a story through movement. I’ve also trained in ADAPT in Toronto, the same Tap and Jazz technique I trained in growing up, which is why they will always hold a special place in my heart! When I’m not at the studio, you can find me spending time with family!

I’ve been dancing my whole life! My background is in theatre, I have a true passion for the performing arts and getting kids excited to take the stage! Outside the studio, I live for summer sunshine, fresh lemonade and days on the ski hill. When I’m not at the studio, you’ll often find me reading a good book, exploring somewhere new or spending time with my family and our two dogs.

I grew up dancing competitively and started teaching both recreational and competitive dance (in a variety of styles) in my teens. Dance has always been a safe space for me – a place where I can express myself freely and allow my creativity to shine. After stepping away while attending university and growing my family, I am so grateful to be back in a studio space that reminds me of my own dance experience growing up. A space with so much love, support and passion shared within its walls. Outside of teaching, I can often be found in the gym, coaching my clients through their own health and wellness journeys, or spending time with my family.

I grew up dancing at Dance Magic and started teaching in my late teens, so the studio has always felt like home. After stepping back for a little while to be with my three kids, I’m thrilled to be back in the classroom again. Sharing my love of dance and movement with our young dancers is truly the highlight of my day. When I’m not teaching you can often find me bike riding with my family or snuggled up with a book.
    Miss Olivia
I began dancing at Dance Magic at the age of two, and by my teenage years, I had the opportunity to grow into a dance instructor. My love for dance has been lifelong, and Dance Magic played a huge role in nurturing that passion.
For me, Dance Magic has always been more than just a studio, it’s been a safe space and a second home. I feel incredibly grateful to now provide that same supportive environment for my students and to share my passion for dance with them. When I’m not teaching, you can find me working toward my nursing degree or spending time with friends.
    Miss Peyton C
After 15 years of dancing at Dance Magic and being able to grow through something I love and connect with the amazing atmosphere around me I am now excited to move on to teaching my own classes and provide that type of comforting and exciting atmosphere to others.

I started dancing at the age of three and grew up immersed in the dance world, developing a lifelong love for movement and performing! I’ve been teaching for several years now, and love sharing that passion with the next generation of dancers. You’ll find me teaching a variety of dance disciplines, and I am also certified in Module 1 and 2 of the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus. I’m passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, strengthen their technique, and discover their own love for dance. When I’m not in the classroom, you can find me in the studio office, outdoors, or spending time on my family farm.
    Miss Sherease
I am an aerial hoop girl first & foremost. I have a passion for strength creativity and being a little bit sparkly! I also enjoy teaching silks & circus. My patience comes from being a mama to three teenagers and living on a farm with my many animals but mainly my beloved flock of chickens. I believe the amount of good things in your life depends on your ability to notice them. If I’m not in my happy place at the studio you’ll see me at the beach or out riding my Pink motorcycle.
