The last few weekends have been filled with fun for everyone at Dance Magic! On Jan. 31 our second annual Daddy Daughter Dance was held at the Holiday Inn, and once again it was a huge success!! We hosted 325 daughters and their dads in the ballroom of the Holiday Inn Hotel for a fantastic evening of dancing and fun! The girls walked the red carpet with their dads, and there were throngs of paparazzi on hand to capture every moment.
There was face painting…
Professional photography by Keri and Tracy Photography were on hand to give each dad and daughter a beautiful photographic memento to take home.

There were even performances by our senior dancers and one lovely young singer…
And of course, lots of dancing!
This event is in support of our Give the Magic Scholarship fund, and all the proceeds go to give families who are struggling financially, assistance so that their children can attend dance and music lessons. It’s a wonderful program that has helped so many students over the past few years, and our Daddy Daughter Dance is a fantastic way of supporting this program! A huge thank you to all of our dads and daughters who attended. We hope you had as much fun as we did!!
This past weekend Dance Magic music students hosted a Tunes and Tea! This was a wonderful chance to visit the new north studio and hear some of the beautiful music being created there. The students did a beautiful job of showcasing their skills for their audience – congratulations to everyone who participated!
Dance Magic also hosted their Grand Opening on Sunday! This was another fantastic event held at the beautiful new north studio! Everyone had a great time dancing, singing – even painting! There were healthy snack demonstrations and even a bouncy castle! What a great way to open our amazing new studio. If you haven’t had a chance to see the new building, be sure to stop by the north end – across the street from Save On Foods – and check it out. It’s really a beautiful space and a lovely place for our students to learn and grow! A huge congratulations to Miss Christine for creating this amazing space for all of us to enjoy. This building is a wonderful addition to our community and I could not be more proud of Miss Christine and her Dance Magic team for what they have created.
Well it’s been an exciting month at Dance Magic with lots of fun things to liven up the cold winter days. Now we have our year end show to get ready for!
