Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you’ve all had a fantastically fun week dressing up for dance class – some of the costumes around the studio were truly amazing!
Even our dance teachers were getting in costume!
It’s been a fun week and I hope all our Dance Magic princesses are ready for Halloween night!
Don’t forget that on Monday morning, bright and early at 9am, after a weekend of scary Halloween fun – our Dance Magic Daddy Daughter Dance tickets go on sale!! Last year we sold out in less than 3 days!! So if you would like to join in on all the fun you need to log on first thing Monday morning and get your tickets!!
There are a few changes to the ticket process this year so I thought I’d give you all a heads up before the big day:
First of all, tickets will be on sale online this year – hopefully this will make the process a lot easier for everyone! Just log on after 9am Monday morning – the link will be available on our website, on our Facebook page and it was even sent out in an email to everyone!
Another change this year is the ability to purchase tickets for an entire table! This way if you would like to sit with a group of your friends, it’s easy – just buy all your tickets at the same time! We have tables of either 8 or 10 people so if you have 4 friends with their 4 dads, and you’d like all 8 of you to sit together – just get together and arrange for one of you to buy 8 tickets at once and you will have a table of 8!
Don’t forget to enter your daughter’s name! If you were at our event last year you know how we love make the evening a special and personal experience. In order to do that we need to know the name of each of our young Dance Magic Daughters! Believe me, it’s something you don’t want to miss out on.
The evening is a filled with dancing, entertainment, activities, desserts and more – from 6:30-9:30pm, dress is semi-formal and tickets are $60/person plus ticket centre fees. This is a fantastic event for a very special cause, all the proceeds go to our Give the Magic scholarship fund!
Dance Magic’s scholarship fund enables kids in our community, who might be struggling financially, to enroll in dance and music lessons. I know all of the parents in our Dance Magic family understand how much our kids learn and grow from taking these classes. It’s not only about learning dance or singing, or the guitar or piano – our kids learn all of these things, and so much more! They develop self-esteem and self-confidence, they learn respect and discipline, they make life-long friends and develop a real sense of family at our studio – and of course they learn dance and music technique! There are so many families in Red Deer who want so badly for their kids to be a part of our Dance Magic community – but due to financial restraints they are unable to. The goal of our Give the Magic scholarship fund is to reach out to those families and help them get their kids involved in the arts!
