Summer is officially here, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and hopefully you are all getting outside and enjoying the lovely weather! I took a break from the sunshine this weekend to stop by Dance Magic’s Student Appreciation Day at Carnival Cinemas on Sunday – and apparently a lot of you did too!
Of course Miss Christine was there to greet everyone…
And Miss Petunia had to get in on the fun!
As always, there were lots of your favorite Dance Magic friends on hand to share the day with.

On Saturday Miss Petunia stopped by the Woody’s Triathalon to participate in the mascot race once again – and of course, as she always does, Miss Petunia whirled and twirled her way across the finish line. Miss Petunia always makes me laugh, she’s so busy dancing that she usually forgets to actually run the race – dance is always her number one priority! Don’t forget – registration for existing Dance Magic students begins on Thursday, June 26 at the Collicutt Centre from 11am-7pm in Studio C. Registration will open to the public on Saturday June 28 so be sure to stop by on Thursday and guarantee your pick of classes! No need to fill out a registration form before you come, we are doing things differently this year and won’t need a paper copy of your info. But don’t forget to bring your $20 registration fee (per family), a void cheque or banking info for automatic withdrawals (if your info has changed since last year) as well as cash, cheque or credit card for costume fees (which must be paid up front, or set up for automatic withdrawal from your account on October 15).

Well I’m off to enjoy another sunshiny day – we had such a long winter that I can’t waste a single moment of this beautiful weather! Don’t forget to stop by the Dance Magic booth at the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings to catch up with some of your dance friends – and if you’re looking for something to do this summer, check and see what summer camps are available! Keep your eyes out for your Dance Magic friends (along with Miss Petunia!) out and about around Red Deer this summer. You never know when they’re going to show up!
