Well I hope all of you have been enjoying the summer sunshine as much as I have! July is my favorite month; the weather is lovely, everything is warm and green – and back to school (and all the crazy busy-ness that it brings) is still a long way off!! I just love summer, don’t you? Have you had any fun vacations? Maybe you’re planning an August get away before the fall?! I hope everyone has their fall dance classes registered and all ready to go – because September will be here before we know it! If you don’t have things in place yet, or you just have questions about what’s happening in the fall – you can always stop by the Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings and visit with the lovely ladies of Dance Magic at their tent. They are there with a smile – ready to help, or just to chat about your summer vacation!
Of course our favorite dance studio loves summer too – and they have been busy beavers so far this month! Or should I say princesses? There has been a lot of Disney magic going on at Dance Magic this summer, with both knights and princesses riding in for the fun.
There’s dancing, crafts and even some fun in the sun to be had by all Dance Magic campers!
Doesn’t that look like the best kind of summer fun? There’s more summer camp excitement to come so if this looks good to you, stop by and register – there is even an extreme dance camp/weekend get away in the mountains this August for your teenage dancer!
Red Deer is overflowing with western themed thrills this week and Dance Magic managed to get in on the fun at the parade…
Who doesn’t love a parade? And how fun is it to get dressed up in your favorite dance costume and dance down a parade route? Even Miss Petunia got in on the action – that elephant is everywhere this summer!
There is so much going on in the summer that it’s easy to get caught up in the fun, and before you know it – fall is here! Living in Alberta, summer is a short and special time and I encourage you all to get out in the sun and savor every moment. There is so much to do in our beautiful city this time of year, so many memories to make and so much fun to be had! I hope you all enjoy Westerner Days and all the thrilling, delicious excitement that goes with it! Look for Miss Petunia out at Centre Fest the weekend of July 27 – and be sure to give her a hug and a twirl, because there’s nothing our favorite elephant loves more than a pirouette with one of her special friends.
Happy Summer everyone – see you soon!!
