Well hello again everyone! How are you all this lovely winter day? I keep hoping that spring is coming and the beautiful sunshine we’ve had lately certainly implies that it’s on the way, though the temperatures are definitely not very spring-like! But spring is definitely coming – and you know how I can tell? I was in the studio this morning and what did I see? Boxes and boxes of costumes! There are sparkles and sequins all over the place these days as our favorite dance studio gets ready for our big final show! It will be here before we know it! If you’re still interested in being a part of the show, there are spring classes just starting that you can join! Of course there are also spring classes available with a no show option, for those of you who wish to just enjoy the fun of dance class without performing on stage. Monday classes run February 24 – April 28

Tuesday – Thursday classes run March 4 – May 1

Saturday classes run February 15 – April 17

I stopped by the studio this morning and had the absolute thrill of watching a group of little ones in their first music class! Musical Magic with Miss Kate is for little ones aged 5 months to 4 years old and a parent – they have a great time playing music with instruments, singing and dancing!

It sure looks like everyone is having fun with those maracas!

I even got a sneak peak at Dance Magic’s newest little student – the adorable Miss Birkley. Today was a big first for Miss Birkley, she went to her first Dance Magic class with her first Dance Magic name tag and her first Dance Magic teacher, Miss Kate!

I have a feeling this is just the first of many Dance Magic classes Miss Birkley will be attending! There are lots of classes available this spring, music classes and dance classes, so if you’re looking for something to do with your little one – stop by the studio or check out the Dance Magic website!

I’m sure by now you’ve all heard about the success of our first annual Daddy Daughter Dance! If you haven’t yet seen them, check out our Facebook page where you can find lots of pictures of beautiful little girls dancing with their daddies! What a fantastic evening, everyone had a great time and we raised a lot of money for a really great cause – our “Give the Magic” scholarship program! The purpose of this program is to share the magic of dance and music with those families less fortunate in our community. If you are struggling with financial difficulties or you know someone who is – you are a great candidate for our scholarship program! For your own pictures, don’t forget about our studio photo weekends! The first picture weekend is coming up starting March 7 – hopefully you all received your little yellow slip of paper that tells you all the times coming up for your class photo day, your rehearsal time at the Memorial Studio and what Take your class is performing in. If not, all that information is available on our website, or you can ask one of the ever- helpful member of the DM office team!
