Hello again! I thought I’d drop in and let you know that things are still hopping at our favorite dance studio! I hope you have all recovered from the big year end dance production and have enjoyed a well deserved break after all the fantastical craziness. But if the dancers in your house are like mine, then you are already missing your dance family and looking for activities for them to do. Never fear – Dance Magic is here! There is always something happening at the studio and this summer there is something for everyone.
Right now the music students are gearing up for their big year end show which is in just two weeks! Having attended the recital last year I can tell you it’s a slightly different experience than the year end dance show. There are fewer sequins, less dramatic stage lighting and not as many tutus – but all the hallmarks of a Dance Magic production are still there and lots of your favorite dance friends to catch up with.

Lovely young ladies who’s beauty and talent bring tears to your eyes…
And pretty dresses sparkled with glitter. Because who doesn’t sing better in a sparkly dress? Some students will steal your heart with a smile, and some voices will take your breath away. And as with all Dance Magic shows, everyone’s a star!
If you need a dance fix don’t worry, there is still lots of dance going on at Dance Magic! For the adults, every Tuesday night there are drop in Zumba and Ballet Boot Camp fitness classes at the north studio.
And for all the younger dancers there are oodles of new summer dance camps to check out thus summer – and 6 week summer programs for music and dance! There’s even a 3 day overnight Extreme Dance Camp this August for teens which sounds fantastic! A bunch of girls I know are planning to go and I can’t wait to hear all about it when they get back. I just know they are going to have the best time!
If you’re missing your dance friends and your dance teachers, then I know the perfect fix – the fourth annual Student Appreciation Day at Carnival Cinemas! It’s on Sunday, June 23 from 9-12 and it’s always a blast. Come spend the morning in your pajamas with your dance family and catch up with all your favorite friends!
